Castrol Hysol SL 50 XBB is a high-performance semi-synthetic, soluble metalworking fluid, suitable for a wide range of materials and applications what provides opportunity for product consolidation. Hysol SL 50 XBB can be used for machining of ferrous and aluminium alloys
This product is formulated without boron or fomaldheyde releasing biocides.
Hysol SL 50 XBB contains an additive package that may help to enhance machining performance and surface finish. It also provides excellent product stability which helps to lower the overall operational costs.
Hysol SL 50 XBB also has an outstanding wide range of water hardness compatibility.

Recommended concentrations:
Grinding: 5 - 7 %
General machining: 5 - 8 %
Drilling, reaming, tapping and broaching: 6 - 10 %
Refractometer factor: 1.0
Water hardness range: 50 - 1000 ppm CaCO₃ (3 - 45 °dH)
