CASTROL Spheerol EPL 3

Spheerol EPL 3 is a general-purpose grease for plant-wide applications. The stiffer consistency afforded by an NLGI 3 grade makes this product particularly suitable for the lubrication of bearings that are vertically mounted, or components exposed to a high degree of vibration.
It has been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium to high loads.
Spheerol EPL 3 offers good protection against rust and corrosion as well as resistance to water wash-out; which makes them particularly suitable for equipment where moist or wet conditions are expected.
It has high mechanical stability; hence the grease keeps its consistency in service ensuring long lubricant life. Spheerol EPL 3 also has good adhesion, so it provides continuous lubrication, and reduced consumption as the film stays between lubricated surfaces. It is resistant to copper and steel corrosion which helps prevent rust and oxidation on metal surfaces.
Spheerol EPL 3 has excellent EP and anti-wear properties to protect the equipment against extreme loading and to minimise bearing component wear.
The operating temperature range for this grease lies between -20 °C and + 120 °C.
