MOL Multi SW 68
Slideway Oils
MOL Multi SW 68 is a multiple purpose lubricating oil developed for slideways, mechanical drives and hydraulic units of precision machine tools.
Multi SW 68 can be applied for:
- Horizontal slideways of machine-tools
- Slideways of low speed heavy-duty machine-tools providing stick-slip free high precision positioning
- Machine-tool hydraulic and slideway systems lubricated from a common supply
- Mechanical drives and headstocks of machine-tools
- Plain bearings with cast and polymer surface
- High performance spur and helical, spur and spiral bevel, enclosed industrial gear drives
It forms a tenacious lubricating film, which withstands the washing effect of the metalworking fluid and prevents stick-slip (the friction that can cause vibration of the slide), thus allowing a uniform movement and precise machining accuracy even in case of high loads and low speeds.
It has excellent wear resistance and pressure resistance properties, protects against scuffing and excessive wear even in case of high loads. It protects the parts of the machine tool effectively against corrosion.
