CASTROL Molub-Alloy 100-2 HT
Industrial Greases and Pastes
Fully synthetic, high temperature grease for lubrication points constantly exposed to extremely high temperatures. It ensures long-term lubrication of sliding and rolling bearings and other greasing points at high operating temperatures, elevated bearing pressures and aggressive ambient conditions.
Usual appilcations are overhead conveyors of painting lines, fan bearings in hot air streams, calender bearings, baking plants and driers.
Molub-Alloy 100-2 HT grease can be used between -20°C (-4 °F) and +220 °C (+428 °F).
Typical characteristics:
KFE 2T-20 NLGI 2
Thickener type: organic thickener
Base oil type: PAO and ester
Base oil viscosity at 40 °C (104 °F): 120 mm2/sec
Dropping point: >300 °C (>572 °F)
Water resistance test, DIN 51807-1: 0 rating
Worked penetration, 25 °C (77 °F), 60 strokes: 265 - 295 (0.1 mm)
Worked penetration, 25 °C (77 °F), 100 000 strokes: 15 (0.1 mm) - change from 60 strokes
