Glass Cutting Fluids
ACECUT 5503 is a glass cutting fluid which evaporates completely.
Preferred fields of application are:
- Cutting of coated glass
- X-Y-cutting in the automotive industry
- On-line cutting of float glass
- Cutting of mirrors
- Also suitable for general cutting of glass up to approx. 10 mm thick
Due to its viscosity and special characteristics, cutting fluid penetrates deep into the cut and keeps it "warm", which leads to considerably improved breaking results. Furthermore, the fluid lubricates the wheel and axle and binds glass dust which results when cutting.
Suitable for oil glass cutters as well as glass cutters without integrated oil tank. Also available for automatic cutting.
Application temperature: 30 - 50 °C
Viscosity at 20 °C: 1.2 - 2.5 mPas
