Corrosion Preventives
SafeCoat 652 is a solvent-free, general-purpose corrosion preventive oil for short-term protection, and as rust preventive additive while using hydrocarbon cleaning solvents.
It is especially recommended in cold rolling mills, rod and wire drawing works. Due to its good deep drawing properties, SafeCoat 652 is also suitable for the protection of cold-rolled vehicle body sheets in light forming operations.
This product is free of solvents and heavy metals, such as barium.
Recommended concentrations when using as a rust preventive additive in cleaning processes: 10 - 30 %
Corrosion protection, indoor storage: 6 - 9 months
For outdoor storage it is not recommended.

Protective film thickness: 3 - 5 µm
Viscosity at 40 °C: 52 mm2/sec
Replacement product: CASTROL Rustilo 652
