Corrosion Preventives
Rustilo DW 370 is a solvent-based medium to long term protective for use in severe conditions where a high degree of protection is required. After the evaporation of the solvent, the product leaves a greasy protective film. It is ideal for protection of machine tools and components prior to long-term storage or transportation.
The product also shows good water displacing properties.
Although it can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.
Its protective film has good mechanical strength and finger print supression.
Rustilo DW 370 has good operator acceptance as it is based on a low aromatic solvent (aromatic content is less than 0.5%) which is isoparaffin.

Corrosion protection, outdoor storage: 6 - 9 months
Outdoor storage describes open storager which protection from the elements by some kind of cover.
Total film forming content: 31%
Protective film type: greasy
Film thickness: 4-6 µm
Drying time: 90 minutes (at ambient temperature and a relative humidity of 60%)
Flash point, closed cup: 62 °C
