Corrosion Preventives
Rustilo DW 180 X is a solvent-based medium term protective for use where a high degree of protection is required. After the evaporation of the solvent, the product leaves a greasy protective film. It is ideal for protection of machine tools and components prior to intermediate storage or transportation.
The product also shows good water displacing properties.
Although it can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.
Rustilo DW 180 X offers good operator acceptance as it is based on a low aromatic solvent which is isoparaffin.

Outdoor storage describes open storager which protection from the elements by some kind of cover.
Total film forming content: 12%

Film thickness: 1.5 µm
Drying time: 60-75 minutes (at ambient temperature and a relative humidity of 60%)
Flash point, closed cup: 65 °C
