Air Compressor Oils
Synthetic gas compressor lubricants for the lubrication of rotary screw and reciprocating compressors in natural gas service. It is based on synthetic hydrocarbons and special additives.
It has been designed to be compatible with all materials resistant to mineral oils, such as NBR, FPM, PTFE, acrylic and epoxy paints, nylon (polyamide) and PVC.
Typical characteristics:
Viscosity at 40 °C (104 °F): 68 mm2/sec - ISO VG 68
Viscosity at 100 °C (212 °F): 10.5 mm2/sec
Viscosity index: 145
Flash point, open cup method: 250 °C (482 °F)
Pour point: -36 °C (-33 °F)
